Epworth Farm is located in Historic and picturesque King William County VA

Trying to steward the land with permaculture and sustainable agriculture practices, we have found ourselves shepherding not only sheep, but many aspects of a fruitful and abundant life.

Icelandic Sheep

The Icelandic sheep are one of the world's oldest and purest breeds of sheep. Throughout its 1100 years of history, the Icelandic breed has been truly triple-purpose, treasured for its meat, fiber and milk.

Icelandic sheep are a beautiful and eye-catching breed of sheep with incredible color variations and many possible combinations of colors and patterns. Known around the world for their fiber, the Icelandic sheep provides a soft, lustrous dual coated fleece. Icelandics come in a range of natural colors and patterns which provide lovely wool that is very versatile and easy to spin, making this wool a handspinners delight.

Natural Health

Joanna is a Certified Natural Health Practitioner, CNHP, so we have a holistic approach to growing our own medicines and being in balance with our environment. Check out upcoming classes on green cleaning, nutrition, and herbal medicines.

Rabbitry

We have a colony of New Zealand White (meat) Rabbits, and we are learning all kinds of new skills including working with fur pelts, and practicing how to “use every part.” Join us for an upcoming group event on how to butcher, cure and prepare rabbit!

Chickens and Eggs

WE LOVE RAINBOW EGGS. We enjoy our collections of heirloom chickens and we are always working toward developing the perfect assortment of egg colors. Ask us about how to get some of our eggs, for eating or hatching your own chicks! (Egg supplies go quickly!)

We love to host events or have a party gathered around our wood fired brick outdoor pizza oven. Contact us to book a farm visit!
